Eurasian Conformity Certificate – it is a document certifying the compliance of given products with the Technical Requirements of the Customs Union. Approving products’ conformity with technical regulations and national standards grants the entrepreneur the following privileges:
Certificates claiming the conformity of the offered goods with Union Technical Requirements cover all the goods produced within the border of the Customs Union, as well as those supplied by outside producers. Requirements concerning both types of commodities are exactly the same.
Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan are the members of the Customs. The discussed certificate may be issued for the period of 1, 3, or 5 years.
The Customs Union Declaration of Conformity can be only issued to a producer or a supplier being a legal person or an individual entrepreneur the business activity of whom has been registered in the Russian Federation. The said declaration cannot be issued to a foreign producer. Only individual entrepreneurs or legal persons from Russia can apply for the document.

The Customs Union Declaration of Conformity may be issued for 1, 3, or 5 years, as well for a given bath of goods or products.
The EAC symbol is the proof that a given product has undergone all the required conformity procedures and fulfilled all the set technical requirements applicable for the Customs Union.
The symbol is to be located on every package of the product, on its nameplate, attached user’s guide, and documents alike.
